Harvey joined the Stamper-Kurn group in summer 2020 and has been working on several aspects of the apparatus in E8. His work includes developing a simulation for optimizing the Zeeman slower and soldering control circuits. Most recently, he built an absorption spectroscopy system that verified a second Titanium source for the experiment. He is currently working on locking the imaging laser frequency to a Saturated Absorption Spectroscopy cell via wavelength modulation. Outside of the lab, Harvey could often be found hiking on the Clark Kerr Fire Trails or enjoying a cup of bubble milk tea.
