Jonathan completed his undergraduate studies in Physics and Mathematics at Vanderbilt University in 2011, and joined the Stamper-Kurn research group in 2013. He started working on the cQED/optomechanics experiment, helping first with the coupled oscillator experiment. Now he is helping explore the use of the atomic spin degree of freedom in cavity optodynamics. During Fall 2013-2016, he was supported by the Department of Defense (DoD) through the National Defense Science & Engineering Graduate Fellowship (NDSEG) Program.
