Rowan received her bachelor’s degree in physics from the University of Toronto in 2021. After doing research in ultrafast X-ray science and particle physics, she finally realized nothing is cooler than ultracold, and joined the Stamper-Kurn group in Winter 2022. Outside the lab, Rowan enjoys painting, running, and hunting for free stuff on the sidewalks of Berkeley.
